Hospital windows – 1

The main building of Emory University Hospital was built in 1945. You can see the inscription “MCMXLV” across the front door. Some of the décor inside in in keeping with that age. Other areas are state-of-the-art new, and some very contemporary.

As do many hospitals, they provide a place for quiet and to be alone, a “chapel”. This is the stained glass window in that room at EUH.

The café at the back looks out over the Emory University campus libraries.
