Driving through Sandy Springs – 3
Here we are, at our last stop on our drive through Sandy Springs. Another set of glass-walled office buildings. As I was stopped for the traffic light, I rolled down my window so I could get a reflection-free photo.
Years ago, I worked across the intersection from these buildings. On many ocassions visitors would ask me if the dome-shaped structure between the buildings was a nuclear reactor site. It wasn’t and isn’t.
The tree you see prominently at the left is a blooming crape myrtle. These trees are very popular in this area. They are covered with blossoms all summer long.
The windows you see behind the crape myrtle are in the entrance to the rapid transit station.
