This is an original photograph, taken in a virtual world, and without post-production. Every year the Linden Endowment for the Arts holds applications for artists seeking land grants for 3-D virtual art installations. This photo was taken at one winner's work, in which the countryside of Jane Austen was lovingly created. These installations are bittersweet, in that they are quite temporary. This photo was taken in August 2016, and the site no longer exists except in the photographic images of its visitors. -- M. Oniker
