Buckhead – Once More

Some months back I needed a title image for a presentation on architectural photography. I went into my archive looking for an unpublished photo and came across the one used here. Since it also showed lots of windows I put a copy into my folder for Monday Window.

It has been sitting there. I just couldn’t figure out how to make best use of it. Vertical images don’t play well as “featured image”. There is no way to know what part of it anybody will see. Cropping out a horizontal section was my decision – just what part?

Well, here are three different crops. And, at the end the original and also a “Perspective adjusted” version.

Well, I think each one has some merit. Which one would you use?

The two imgages above are in a “tiled gallery”. It won’t go wide like the individual photos above, and the “lightbox” views are rather pathetic. WordPress keeps “improving” – I just wish they’d get somebody with a bit of talent and artistic ability to do their image handling. So let’s trick the system:

Monday Window is a weekly blog post challenge featuring one or more photos of windows, prominently or as the main subject. Please see the sidebar.
