Still continuing to evaluate new software. This quick shot with deep shadows seemed like a good candidate. Photos taken with my iPhone have more compression in the shadows, breaking up areas into large blocks. That makes recovery of image detail difficult – and sometimes impossible.
It seems to have worked well enough for this one.
Besides, who can resist a selfie.
