This was also an opportunity to demonstrate two of the three cameras of the iPhone. The wide angle has a focal length of 2.2 mm. The telephoto is 9 mm. Both images are slightly cropped.

Dipping into my archive this week. Here is part of the Atlanta skyline with trees. Atlanta is a very “treed” city. Even downtown prides itself on its trees.

Of course, the tall buildings are just mostly windows staked on top of one another, as you can clearly see in the tallest one, hehe. No, it is not under construction. They gave up when they got to this point.

This photo is from way back in May of 2010, taken at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. You would expect a lot of trees there. Here are a couple more from that visit – with windows showing, of course.

And more from that early morning trip to “pill hill”. Here we are looking out a window at the “king and queen” buildings.

It was just under a year ago when I posted a photo here of these buildings at sunset time. Now we see then just after sunrise. This time from a building on the Saint Joseph’s Hospital campus. You can’t see that there is a freeway in between. It was from that freeway that I had photographed the buildings for the February 21, 2022 post of Monday Window.

Continuing on with my early morning trip into the city. The streets were still uncrowded. However, the parking lot at Starbucks on the left was full. Seems like a lot of us need that cup of coffee to get the day started.

Here is a view of an apartment building. The windows looked intriguing with their varied reflections. In the evening many of the windows likely would be lit up, but at this hour the place looks still asleep.

Our destination was the building in the next photo. We made it there just at the time of sunrise. The glass-walled building reflects the neighboring building which in turn reflects the glowing sky. It was rather neat.
