Had it not been for bushboy I likely would never pay attention to awnings. Now I can’t stop. Indeed, I stopped at this building one morning just because of the blue awnings.

Here are square ones over the door and on one side. The others are rather different – large, angled awnings with small windows.

Sometimes there are detractions. Can you fault me for showing all of these gorgeous blooming trees? It is the first day of spring, after all.

We look forward to this stunning display of spring enthusiasm every year. For the last couple of weeks, we checked on them about every other day. This photo may show them at their best.

But to avoid any criticism, here is a crop to emphasize the windows.

Last week I presented a photo with “sunbeams” covering the side of an office building. Lens flare was the actual culprit. On the other side of the street the building was in full sunlight, and the sun behind me. Here we have a clean looking window wall.

Same architecture as last week, but this looks more like what you would expect to see.
