Bus Windows

About eleven years ago we went on a “senior trip”. It was conducted by a nearby center for seniors and the destination was Turner Field in Atlanta, then the home of the Atlanta Braves baseball team. The bus ride provided the opportunity for some “drive-by shooting” with my little Nikon D60.

I will be sharing some of those photos in the next few weeks. But now it’s “all aboard”.

This was also an opportunity to demonstrate two of the three cameras of the iPhone. The wide angle has a focal length of 2.2 mm. The telephoto is 9 mm. Both images are slightly cropped.

The “king and queen” buildings were my subject in two prior posts:

Skyline and Trees

Dipping into my archive this week. Here is part of the Atlanta skyline with trees. Atlanta is a very “treed” city. Even downtown prides itself on its trees.

Of course, the tall buildings are just mostly windows staked on top of one another, as you can clearly see in the tallest one, hehe. No, it is not under construction. They gave up when they got to this point.

Skyline and Trees

This photo is from way back in May of 2010, taken at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. You would expect a lot of trees there. Here are a couple more from that visit – with windows showing, of course.
